  Armbrace
This was taken during the Schuylkill County Volunteer Firefighters Parade in McAdoo, PA, on 8-20-05. We paid homage to firemen by wearing early firefighter garb.

Sometimes we set up a display of highwheels to help folks become familiar with the machines. This was taken in Hazleton, PA, in September, 2005.
At Eckley Miners Village on Aug. 28, 2005. The town is a living museum, owned and operated by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. We were invited once again to take part in Living History Weekend, also called Civil War Weekend (To be excruciatingly accurate...the highwheels weren't around during the Civil War. They came a bit later.) Visitors at Eckley enjoy seeing the 'Ordinaries.' We usually take the highwheels to Eckley for the annual Patch Town Days celebration as well.
